background in nursing. With professional nursing experience
in Orthopedics, Med-Surg, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Psychiatrics,
and Nursing Education, Jessica takes the whole person
into consideration when designing an exercise program.

expects your best! Her programs are so successful because
she strongly believes good health and safety outweigh
any aesthetic considerations. She will coach you slowly
and carefully to meet your goals. This gentle but powerful
approach eases your transition from bulky to buff, yielding

Viewing the person from an integrated perspective in
which mind/body/spirit are connected, Jessica emphasizes

Weightlifting
Work with
free weights at home, safely and effectively. You do
not need any fancy equipment to get started. Learn traditional
and newer styles of lifts, strengthening muscles in
a well-balanced, proportioned manner. You will feel
stronger in the world and more sure of yourself. For
those new to weightlifting, you can take pride in knowing

Yoga
Yoga can not be overestimated in its ability to enhance
health. Jessica is a graduate of the highly esteemed
Mama Nirvana’s Teacher Training Program. She is
a Registered Yoga Teacher credentialed by the National
Yoga Alliance and also a Kripalu Certified Prenatal
Yoga Instructor. Enjoy the immediate and long term benefits
that yoga has to offer as part of your total fitness
package. You will cultivate strength, endurance, flexibility,
poise, equanimity, and peacefulness. You are also offered
techniques to begin a meditation practice. Whether you
are looking for a prenatal yoga class or athletic yoga

Aquatics
Has it been a long time since you’ve swam? Have
you somehow lost the knack of the strokes? Jessica can
instruct you in basic swim technique and can also offer
you aqua aerobics. Swimming is perhaps one of the safest
forms of exercise for people with injuries. You will
feel relaxed and invigorated after a session in the
pool. This type of exercise also promotes deep sleep
and burns more calories than land exercise. Very refreshing.
Hills
and Drills
Hills and Drills is a great for people who prefer the
outdoors. You will enjoy scenic terrain while following
an “interval” program of strength training
and aerobics. Hills and Drills can help you out of a

Calisthenics
and the Travel Workout
